Should you Victrix Pro KO in 2026? If you are a MX style player and like rings. The Victrix Pro KO is a leverless you’ll want to consider. P5 / PS4 and PC compatible out the box. Large base, metal top, fully removable and customizable layout, with custom button reprogramming on the go. You can also program the same button to multiple locations. You’ll like this pad.
There are some cons or things to consider
1st – the switch height can be an issue for some. The frame is thin and the MX switches can feel tall. If that bothers you, you can easily fix it by swapping out the switches and rings and keycaps for the low profile Outemu GTMX MX switches. They are not as tall and will make the pad feel more like a standard pad with larger 25mm / 26mm after market keycaps from DOIO, Haute42, Dueled or more and make the pad feel snappier.
The catch is currently Outemu low profile MX switch variety for this height is limited. You won’t find many silent options or a wide range of spring force options. I went with the Blacks and I was happy.
2nd – the clacky keycaps and rings. The stock keycaps are designed with rings to prevent them from flying off as most major manufacturers do. The goal being if you’re a player worried about a $250 controller losing parts your keycaps will never fly off or get lost during game play. However, these rings and keycaps create a very clacky sound and feel or rattly feel for some. Also you might change your switches and notice they feel the same or you might not like the feel of the keycaps clapping the rings.
If you want a snappier experience, I recommend removing the stock rings and caps and swapping in aftermarket keycaps from DOIO, Haute42, Duelpad, or more. This will make the switches unrestricted and feel like they should actually feel and sound how they should sound and all their unique characteristics of whichever switches you choose.
Besides those considerations that are not a major issue, I think it’s a good buy and an easy customizable experience that’s a good option to consider.
