Did we need the X-Move??? The Haute42 X-Move is a modular metal pad with a unique modular sliding design. The X in the name signifies its modular. You can swap the hand left side for different configurations
– joystick
– WASD
– MX WASD
– low profile
The “Move” meaning you can slide the bottom and right hand side modules to the left and right to find the split layout spacing that is right for your play style. The slider is tight and difficult to move out the box but that is a good thing as it will not move during game play.
The X-Move feels like a hybrid of 3 different Haute42 pads, combining the M Ultra Gen 2 metal finish, feel, and general layout. With the split layout features of the CAT. While being modular like the X series on the left hand side. If you can find the X series which appears to be discontinued and is out of stock at the time of this writing on Aliexpress and Amazon. For the $30 more the X Series is a better buy. You get full modularity and has a case in the box to hold all your modules.
The X-Move is a nice premium pad, with a customizable left side and adjustable split layout. It’s not as X as the X-Series but does what it sets out to do really well for those that like the standard or split layout or flat joystick play style or need to adjust their split layout.
